- Conforms to AWWA C-515
Ductile iron gate valves feature higher operating pressures and lighter
weight for easier handling than comparable size cast iron gate valves.
Face to face dimensions of AWWA C-515 ductile valves and AWWA C509
cast iron valves are identical.
Valves listed below have fusion bonded epoxy coated housings, Buna-N
encapsulated ductile iron wedges, stainless steel stems and stainless steel
bonnet and packing box bolts. Flange x Flange valves are equipped with a handwheel and a 2” square
operating nut. The MJ x MJ mechanical joint valves are equipped with a 2” square operating
nut. Rated 250 psi non-shock CWP (Cold Working Pressure). Flanges conform
to ANSI B16.1 Class 125. |
