The Shell Cutters for Cast Iron and Ductile Iron pipe are available in either CC and IP thread. For any
size cast or ductile iron pipe above 4". Shell Cutters work best on heavy
wall pipe.
The Shell Cutters and Tap and Shanks are used with the B101 Machine to cut on Cast Iron O.D. PVC Pipe. Both the shell cutter and tap and shanks are needed to properly tap PVC pipe. Maximum PVC wall thickness .750".
Don't forget cutting grease to keep your cutters working optimally.
