Introducing the "Wachs Hydrant Wrench" a versatile lightweight
ratcheting wrench designed for Fire Hydrants of all types. Similar to a
conventional wrench in appearance only, the "Wachs Hydrant Wrench"
has combined a ratcheting mechanism and an optional digital counter into
its ergonomic design. The ratchet significantly reduces back strain by
reducing the range of motion necessary to operate the tool. The operator
can reverse rotation with a quick turn of the directional lever.
One man operation is easy with the wrenches extended handle offering
increased leverage, hydrants can be opened quickly.
When
flushing or exercising hydrants the revolution counter lets the operator
concentrate on safety while the integrated counter tracks the valve
position.
