You need this valve anytime the storage tank is drained or bypassed.

This valve is used to stabilize the pressure in your water lines when a storage tank is bypassed for painting, repair or cleaning. Unit is field adjustable.

Any water pressure over the set pressure is relieved through a cone and disperses water into a spray to minimize the danger to the immediate area.

Available in 0-60 lbs. pressure and 60-100 lbs. Will bypass 200 GPM at 45# setting.

Also available: A larger valve used by fire departments as surge control to prevent breakage of mains.

Larger sizes and pressures available up to 200 pounds.

Valve is shipped complete with gauge and brass swivel adapter for hydrants.

Instructions to drain tank and hydrant pressure settings are included with each valve.

Essentially the same as Model A-2 but has an enclosed end with Brass Male Fitting to connect to a Fire Hose, to divert water away from the immediate area.

Used with or without capped end.
