Prepared
media plates save time and hassle. Sterile, sealed and dated, all
plates come ready to use and include quality control documentation, MSDS
sheets and quality guarantee.
If
you are ever dissatisfied with your unexpired lot of plates – for whatever
reason – we will gladly replace them without question!
Plates are sold in sleeves of 10. Other
quantities are available, please call for quantity pricing. Plates are
shipped directly from the manufacturer via UPS Blue and expire 60 days from
manufactured date. Refrigerate upon receipt.
Modified m-TEC – Follows EPA 1603 for
the determination of E. coli in wastewater effluent or ambient
waters. Filter sample and incubate at 35.0 C for 2 hours then transfer
to a 44.5 C bath for 22 hours. Colonies appear as bright red-magenta
and are much easier to identify than earlier methods.
m-TEC – Filter sample and incubate at
35.0 C for 2 hours then transfer to a 44.5 C bath for 22 hours.
Transfer filter to a pad soaked in Urea / Phenol reagent and wait 15
minutes. Count yellow/brown colonies as E. coli. Reagent
not included.
m-FC – Enumerate fecal coliforms by
filtering and incubating at 44.5 C for 24 +/- 2 hours. Colonies appear
as dark blue. |
