The D5 Machine cuts through a corporation stop that is attached to the
pipe with a saddle or service clamp with tapped outlet.
It can drill a hole from 5/8" to 2" under pressure (up to 500 psig)
using 3/4 to 2 inch Corp Stops and Service Saddles.
This method of making service connections is recommended where the main
is too small, thin or weak to permit direct tapping.
Very basic and easy to use the D5 can be used on Cast Iron, Cement
Lined Cast Iron, Ductile, Cement Lined Ductile Iron, A/C, Concrete,
Steel and Plastic.
