The GRIP offers a real breakthrough on fire hydrant and valve box
installation safety. When properly installed, the need for an
individual to stand in the hole and hold the valve box in place during
the backfilling operation is totally eliminated.
Constructed of 12 gauge steel the GRIP is available in 2 models.
The G-5 is used when the auxiliary valve is attached to the fire hydrant
and the G-15 when a piece of pipe is between the fire hydrant and the
valve (the G-15 is adjustable up to 36" on center from the fire hydrant
to auxiliary valve box.) |
