2" Pitotless Nozzle Grooved (PN2G)For use with the Little Hose Monster - it measures from about 350 to 1400 GPM and is the most common size for hydrant fire flow testing. Smaller sizes can be used for lower flow-rates.
12' Remote Reader - Enable you to take gauge readings at a convenient distance from discharge. Sold in 3 lengths (12', 40', and 60'), the 12' length is usually sufficient for fire flow testing.
Swivel Gauge Cap (GCS), the gauge cap collect static and residual pressure readings from a hydrant in a fire flow test. It attaches to the 2-1/2" nozzle port on the residual hydrant.
Spanner Wrench (WSPA101), attaches a hose to a hydrant or Pitotless Nozzle
Hydrant Wrench (HW107), enables you to unscrew caps and open a hydrant to flow water.
Case 24" x 16" x 10" (CASE920), foam-padded case keeps gauges and Pitotless Nozzle protected and prevent damage.
To Complete the kit add the following (not included in the case):
2-1/2” x 10’ Hose (HMH2H.10), for fire flow testing, 10' length most common.
Reducer Adapter 4-1/2" Female x 2-1/2" Male, enables hose to be flowed from the 4-1/2" pumper port of a hydrant positioning the discharge in the street.
This case is compact enough to fit in the trunk of a car or even as checked baggage on the airlines. Wheel it from vehicle to the hydrant and set up for your fire flow test. All you have to carry separately is the short length of hose.
