Designed with metal sealing surface for permanent mounting on hydrants.
The HPHATM Storz Connections thread onto the Pumper Nozzle brass thread and are easily installed. Cap, cable and adapter included.
The HIHSTM Storz connection are normally specified with new hydrants.

The Storz adapter shall have a hard anodized aluminum Storz ramps and lugs. The adapters finish shall be hard coat anodized to Mil-A-8625f, Type 3 dark grey. The adapter shall be made of forged or extruded 6061-T6 aluminum and secured to the nozzle by 2 stainless steel set screws, inserted 180⁰ apart. The female adapter shall contain a flat rubber gasket which seals against male hydrant nozzle.

The blind cap shall have hard anodized aluminum Storz ramps and lugs, made of forged or extruded 6061-T6 aluminum. The center cap shall be equipped with a suction seal. The cap shall be connected to the adapter or the hydrant with a 1.125" vinyl coated aircraft cable. Once installed, the 5" Permanent Hydrant Adapter with cap extends 2.9" from the hydrant nozzle.
