For drinking water turbidity applications, the DataStick uses a precalibrated
plug-in, optical detector. The chamber removes bubbles from the water so the solid particles
can be accurately detected. The chamber lamp will provide collimated white light for a minimum
of three years and is easily changed from the top.
Because the chamber is only 135 ml, it takes a very small amount of
Formazin to perform EPA mandated calibrations. AquaSensors AV38 local display is provided as standard equipment
for the Turbidity system. |
