Hydrazine is a liquid chemical
substance normally used in high pressure heating plants because of its
characteristics as an oxygen inhibitor. This is done to avoid scaling
and corrosion in the plant itself. It is also used in tanks, because it
controls the growth of bacteria.
High concentrations of
hydrazine, on the other hand, can create a reaction with ammonia, which may
result in damage to parts made of copper. |
