Determine Cyanide concentrations in 1/1000's of CN-

|

Cyanide is a pollutant that originates mostly from metallurgical and
galvanic industrial plants. Cyanide is poisonous to the human nervous
system, and it is therefore imperative to monitor and control its level
in potable water. Due to this, European norms limit the allowed
concentration of cyanide in drinking water to 0.05 mg/L, while the EPA
has established that the maximum level is not to exceed 0.2 mg/L. |
