MEDIA AMPULES OVERVIEW

Convenient, 2-mL single dose
selective media ampules
are sterile and ready-to-use.
Available in plastic or glass
PourRite™ ampules for easy
application to absorbent pads
during membrane filtration.
Media formulations are available for testing total coliform, fecal
coliform and E. coli. Colonies that grow on presumptive
media may require additional confi rmatory steps to comply with
permit requirements. All ampules require refrigeration upon
receipt. |

m-ColiBlue24® simultaneously determines total coliforms and
E. coli with one petri dish. Incubate at 35 ±0.5°C for 24 hrs.
Red and blue colonies represent total coliforms, blue represent
E. coli.
m-FC determines fecal coliform bacteria in non-potable water.
Incubate at 44.5 ±-0.2°C for 24 hrs. Colonies are blue in color.
m-FC with rosolic acid is optimized for the detection of unstressed
fecal coliform bacteria in the presence of high levels of
non-coliform bacteria.
m-Endo detects total coliforms in potable water samples after
being incubated for 22-48 hrs at 35 ±0.5°C. Colonies appear
dark red with a greenish-gold sheen.
