CALCIUM HARDNESS COLORIMETER OVERVIEW
Total hardness, that is presence of magnesium and calcium, is due mainly
to the run-off water dissolving these salts as it flows or filters
through different strata. Hardness can cause scaling of pipes in
cooling and heating systems. Reverse osmosis and demineralization
also increase harness levels. The LHI93735 meter measures total
hardness in three different scales: 0 to 250, 200 to 500 and 400 to 750
ppm, covering an extensive range of applications. With this meter
hardness can be measured in ppm (mg/L) as well as in French (ofH),
German (odH) and English hardness (oeH). The
reading is expressed directly in ppm and it is not necessary to use
conversion tables or diagrams for interpretation.
The LHI93735 meter comes complete with 2 cuvets, battery and manual.
