All phosphorus determinations
measure orthophosphate
only. To
determine other forms
of phosphorus in a
sample, they must be
separated and converted
to orthophosphate
via an acid digestion.
This test equipment is
required to perform
these separations and must be used in conjunction with test kits
such as the Dual Range Phosphate Kit and colorimeters to determine
total phosphate levels.
Kit includes all necessary reagents, boiling stones, pipets, funnel,
flask, cylinder and filter paper to perform the digestion. A hot plate
is also required but not included. |
