The grease trap sampler is specially designed to measure grease levels in a holding tank. The unit is constructed to sample liquid grease and oils. It will not work with grease that has hardened into a solid or semi-solid layer.
The inside diameter of the sampler is 1-3/8" allowing small food particles to easily pass through the valve opening during sample collection.
The unit comes with two 4' sections which when assembled together make an 8' sampler. The tubing is marked with red tape at 1' intervals making it easy to determine the amount of grease collected. An optional 4' extension piece may be purchased to sample at greater depths. An optional 4-1/2' cleaning brush is also recommended. |
