Elster designed this evoQ4 mag meter to be used in both water and wastewater at any stage of the process. The unit is battery powered. Because of the innovative design of the evoQ4, it will deliver an accurate reading in virtually all flow conditions. Since this meter can be used in all aspects of water and wastewater, municipalities can now standardize on one meter for all their applications.

The evoQ4 monitors flow at intervals every half second; this assures the most accurate readings available from any meter. Since the battery life is up to ten years, you can install this meter and pretty much forget it. The all stainless steel meter has no moving parts to replace, just another of the features that make this meter virtually maintenance free. A large LCD display gives you readings at a glance, and the display is fully submersible to a depth of 30 feet, so even if your meter pit floods the evoQ4 will keep right on working.

The evoQ4 incorporates smart metering technology which allows it to output information for billing, network management and leakage monitoring. The technology is compatible with AMI and AMR systems.
