The T210 is a cost effective solution to meter reading access problems.
The T210 is installed in a location easily accessed by the
meter reader. Connected to the water meter pulse output by wire,
the T210 accumulates pulses from the water meter and stores the
reading. Being weather resistant it can be affi xed outside exposed
to the elements! Operating temperatures range from -220oF to 1580oF at 95% relative humidity.
T210's come installed with factory defaults and are programmed at
the time of ordering. However, with the use of a PSR140 Reader/
Programmer the configuration can be done in the field and set to
any pulse water meter in size at any time. Additionally, the display
can be re-configured to indicate tampers, the possibility of leaks in
the customer's system and even the number of digits displayed can
be set between 4 and 8, enabling the display to show the full meter
reading or only billing units.
The T210 can be read by either the visual LCD display or by means
of either the PSR140 Reader/Programmer (can store up to 800 reads
without overwriting) or by the T450 Mini-Reader (can store up to 16
reads before overwriting occurs).
Note: A maximum run length of 50 feet is recommended as increased
distances may be affected by electromagnetic sources and
thus prevent accurate readings. With proper shielding runs of up to
500' have been achieved.
