The standard Model 101 Water Level Meter uses high quality medium density polyethylene tape. It reels easily and hangs straight in the well, irrespective of temperature.
The non-stretch tape uses 7 strands of stainless steel in each side of the dog bone design, and is easily repaired. Permanent heat embossed markings are very accurate and traceable to national standards. The redesigned reel gives improved ergonomics and better stability

The standard P2 Electrode is 1/2" stainless steel.  Measurements are in Feet and Tenths with markings every 100th.  An optional P6 Submersible Electrode, 1/2" in diameter,, is available for an additional $28.00.  The P6 is only used with the probe will be submerged (it is a sealed version of the P2 probe).
