TOOL OVERVIEW

The Horizontal Earth Boring Tool was designed with one purpose in mind, to allow you to bore under concrete and other structures FAST. With the assistance of a 1/2" drill and a water hose, users can bore through the worst environment in no time at all.
Thoroughly job tested, it drills accurately through dirt, sandy loam, clay shale, and certain gravels and hardpan, cutting roots as it goes, for distances up to 60 feet.
To operate you use your own schedule 40 - 3/4" glavanized pipe - screw the Boring Bit onto the end and connect a garden hose to the valve. Any length of pipe can be added from 3' to 20' depending on the drilling conditions.
Dig a bore hole leaving enough room for water to collect as you bore and slowly turn ont he water valve until the drill pipe is full. Push the drill forward and maintain about 1' per minute forward momentum. In hard soils a pry bar will make boring much easier.
When you have bored through you can attach a pipe to the end of the boring tube and pull a service line through the bored hole as you retract. |
