HPL-50 OVERVIEW
The HPL-50 is a high power (up to 50 watts - user selectable from 0-10 W
in 0.5W increments) portable transmitter with simultaneous transmission
of three active frequencies (512, 982 and 9.8 kHz).
The HPL-50 is great for high resistance
applications were traditional transmitters can't be used (deep cast or
ductile pipe traces or submerged pipe river crossings).
Works with Metrotech
850,
9860, and 9890. Not usable with the
810 series locators.
You can use a 12V DC connection or the
internal rechargeable NiMH battery provides approximately 2.5 hours of
operating time at 10 W and features anti-deep charge protection.
