GA-72CD OVERVIEW

The perfect instrument for finding valve boxes, curb boxes, and manhole covers beneath soil, snow, or blacktop. Easy-to-use, sensitive and configurable, the GA-72CD will locate items as small as 1/4" nails (at depths of 1 foot) to well casings buried to eighteen feet.

The GA-72CD Magnetic Locator detects the magnetic field of both ferrous objects and energized power lines. An audible detection signal peaks when the locator's tip is held directly over the target. The unit has an easy-to-read digital bar graph that displays both the signal strength, polarity of the object and battery status.
