Unlike other methods of meter security that only tell you of tampering,
the Intimidator Meter Coupling Lock virtually eliminates theft of
service. Plastic locks and wire/lead seals are easily removed and
reinstalled, leaving no way to determine how much revenue has been lost.
This problem is nearly eliminated with the Meter Coupling Lock. The lock
is manufactured from aluminum alloy and stainless steel to the highest
quality levels. The unique two-piece design attaches around the meter
coupling with two stainless steel Intimidator locks. When properly
installed, the lock spins freely around the coupling and protects it
against reverse metering and jumper pipes. |
