Break away locks are an ideal lock
for situations where you need to secure
an area but can’t afford to be
locked out if you lose or misplace a
key. Areas such as Chlorine storage,
valve lockouts, sprinkler shut-offs
and emergency inter-connects are
just a few areas which may require
immediate access in case of emergency.
With a break away lock in place you
can gain entry, less a key, by snapping
the shackle with a pipe wrench or hammer. The break away locks are specified by leading fire insurance underwriters for a variety of applications. Cadmium rust-proofing is standard. Each lock comes with two keys.
