Design

The Man-Pan is structurally designed to prevent bending or buckling
under load. Our strong, rigid construction helps prevent the Man-Pan
from falling into a sanitary manhole system causing maintenance
nightmares. Also, the center "bubble top" arch is very effective in a
climate where frost is a concern.
Lifting Lugs (Patented)
The Man-Pan's superior
extraction device is a patented lifting lug built into the anti-corrosive
material that accepts a standard "J-hook" for removal. Other products use a
cloth or other handle, which in an environment such as a sewer system, may
wear away and eventually fail.
The Man-Pan is available in five different non-corrosive materials to
meet your individual needs. Please call for a recommendation and
specification according to your exact conditions.
Venting
The Man-Pan utilizes the
patented Tideflex® Check Valve for venting. The Tideflex® provides a 20 CFM
relief rate, and the flexible elastomer construction will not clog and can
take extraordinary abuse without damage.
