VENT STACK OVERVIEW
Specially designed canister containing 20 lbs of Activated Carbon, which traps and stores unpleasant hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan odors. Purified air is then allowed to ventilate into the atmosphere through holes in the canister.
20 lb bags of replacement carbon and carbon saturation indicator are available. Performance: Due to varying levels of H2S concentration,
the expected life span of the activated carbon also varies.
Installation is easy and quick. First remove the lid from the ODOREATER Vent Stack and pour the 20 lb bag of activated carbon into the canister. Secure the ODOREATER vent stack insert to the existing vent stack pipe using the four self-tapping, stainless steel screws through the existing vent stack and into the extended pipe of the canister approximately 90 degrees apart. To remove the stack simply loosen the screws and remove the stack then you can refill the carbon.
