VENT FILTER
OVERVIEW
The same technology used in Taps™ Odor Control Scrubbers and manhole inserts is used in
their vent filters. The odor problem is the same - the solution is also the same, but the shape of the tool is different. Taps™ vent filters are used on vent pipes of homes, commercial buildings, small lift stations and tanks. All units are refillable.
The 3 inch and 4 inch filters are made of black ABS. The 6 and 8 inch filters are constructed of white PVC. Larger sizes can be used on smaller stacks by using a spigot
by socket reducing bushing. This is recommended where practicable because larger sizes will maximize service life between granule change-outs. If a reducing bushing is used you may either glue to vent pipe or use thumbscrews. Push Taps™ Filter over vent pipe or bushing and tighten thumbscrews.
