DRUM PUMP OVERVIEW
GoatThroat wrote the book on simple chemical transfer. If you can
operate a beer tap, you can operate a GoatThroat chemical pump. A
few strokes of the plunger will pressurize any container from 2 to 55
gallons. After which, you simply open the tap and the fluid flows!
Pretty Simple. No metal parts means no chance of sparks or
ignition of volatile or flammable fluids. Flows up to 4-1/2
gallons per minute or as low as 2 Tablespoons per minute. Remote
tap kits are available for filling containers away from the actual drum.
Remote tap kits are available with either 5 or 10 foot hoses and include
everything you need to fill remotely.
The GoatThroat is available with 4
different elastomers for maximum chemical resistance. All pumps
and taps are made of food grade Polypropylene. The seals, O-rings
and check valves vary by unit for your specific application. Each
unit is standard with an internal pressure relief valve to assure
compliance with safety standards. All units include a 4" standoff
to raise the pump up the lip on the drum. Because the drum is
sealed with the pump in place there is no evaporation of liquids which
eliminates waste and fumes. |
