PUMP OVERVIEW

Goulds Multistage pumps are ideal for boosting pressure to Eductor based
chlorine feed systems. Eductor systems work better with proper
flow and pressure which often requires a booster pump. They can
also be used for high pressure wash-down, reverse osmosis, water
circulation or for boosting pressure anywhere you might need it.
All models are standard with 56J motors
and are available in either TEFC or ODP enclosures. These straight
centrifugal, multistage pumps are built to withstand the rigors of
continuous duty use and are ideal for municipal and industrial water and
wastewater plants.
Single phase motors have built-in
capacitor start and feature overload protection with automatic reset.
Three phase units require external heaters and overload protection.
These units are not designed to be
dead-headed. If your application may require periods of "no flow"
then a properly sized pressure relief valve needs to be installed in the
system. Pump failure can occur in as little as 2 minutes if the
unit is not moving water. Pollardwater.com can provide the proper
valve for your application - send an email to
info@pollardwater.com for
information on how to order your pressure relief valve.
The Goulds GB Series offer flows from as
little as 1 GPM to over 50 and will produce pressures up to 260 psi.
The GB series will handle inlet pressures up to 75 PSI so they can
be plumbed directly to an existing pressure system. These pumps
will pull up to a 10' suction lift with the use of a foot valve. |
