• Silent check valves were developed to eliminate water hammer due to water flow reversal in clear water pump applications
• Vertical and horizontal mounting
• Valve opens when upstream pressure exceeds downstream pressure by 1/4 to 1/2 psi
• An internal spring closes valve just prior to an equalizing pressure on both sides providing a quiet and shock less valve closing
• Maximum recommended flow velocity for all valves is 12' per second
• Globe style valve body is cast iron with bronze plug, seat and bushings, stainless steel spring and screws and Buna-N O-ring
• Globe style flanged valves 2" thru 12" are rated at 200 psi with Class 125 flanges
