• The Chlorine Institute Emergency Kit-A (Device 1) is the only US DOT approved capping kit that can be applied to a leaking chlorine cylinder and shipped over the road legally
• The Emergency Kit "A" contains devices to stop leaks at the valve, fusible plug, and in the side walls of chlorine 100 & 150 lb cylinders which conform to specification DOT 3A480
• Two instruction booklets explaining the application of each device are included
• Device #1: designed to contain leaks in and around the cylinder valve red and stored inside a durable polyethylene tool box
• Device #2: a clamping device to seal leaks in and around the cylinder valve fusible plug
• Device #8: a patching device designed for sealing leaks in the cylinder side wall
• Kit A also includes a variety of hand tools, inspection seals and additional sealing devices
• All items are labeled with a part number, color coded red and stored inside a durable polyethylene tool box
