• Ductile iron housing with long radius midsection for less restriction to flow
• Ball and socket disc/disc arm connection allows greater articulation for the bronze disc to seat on the Buna-N resilient seat for drip tight sealing
• The lever and spring or Lever and weight design assures the valve closes prior to reversal of the water column to minimize water hammer
• The position of the lever is field reversible
• Standard configuration is right hand facing the inlet side of the valve
